The Alberta Lure Coursing Association is a club for lure coursing folk and their sight hounds. Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the club has been holding sanctioned lure coursing trials since 1980. For more information on our trials please contact us.
ALCA host the following events from Spring to late Fall: •Canadian Kennel Club - Lure Coursing Field Trials: Sighthounds that are officially recognized by are: Afghan Hounds, Basenjis, Borzoi Hounds, Deerhounds (Scottish), Greyhounds, Ibizan Hounds, Irish Wolfhounds, Italian Greyhounds, Pharaoh Hounds, Salukis and Whippets. •Canadian Kennel Club Chase Ability Test Program: All breeds and mix-breeds are welcome to participate. •Canadian Kennel Club - Sprinter Race Program: All breeds and mix-breeds are welcome to participate.
