Join us at the 
Educational Field! 

The purpose for our educational field is for young canines to train, to be tested on the lure in preparation for official certification and to experience coursing.

Fields Located:
Uncas Public School Field and the Historical Bremner House.

We very much appreciate the use of this field. It is private property — scoop the p.. is a MUST. There are no washroom facilities & shade is limited.

Practice schedule is sent out to members by email and FB.  Watch for current updates, changes or weather conditions on Facebook - ALCA Edmonton.  

Training/Testing on the lure is not Conditioning!
It is the owners responsibility on a DAILY basis to ensure your canines are in peak performance condition for this sport!  
 
Getting Ready
Step 1. Come out to a Fun Run 

Step 2. Ask the Club Field Chair if your canine is ready to event

Step 3. Register with the CKC

Step 4. Enter a Event:
•Lure Coursing Field Trial (Sighthounds and Italian Greyhounds Only)
•Chase Ability Program (all interested canines)
•Sprinter Race Program (all interested canines)
